Hey Reader,
Let me share something I haven’t admitted before.
I’ve been giving you advice I haven’t been following myself.
Yes, I’ve built a personal brand that’s opened doors, including an invitation to speak at a summit to over 300 people ABOUT personal branding for introverts (the irony!).
But whilst I’ve been guiding you through my 5Cs strategy, which I know works, I haven’t been fully living it.
The Uncomfortable Truth
As introverts, overthinking is our comfort zone.
We’re full of ideas, insights, and quiet brilliance…but turning that into clear, consistent communication? That’s often where we stumble.
I’ve been showing up regularly (tick for Consistency), but I’ve been scattered.
Sharing across platforms without a clear thread due to a mix of overthinking, lack of confidence on camera and inner rebellion .
The result?
People get a sense of who I am, but not how I can actually help.
And here’s the thing: in 2025, your personal brand isn’t optional – it’s your first impression, your reputation, and your silent pitch.
Whether you’re job-seeking, self-employed, or building a side project, people will search for you.
Clients, collaborators, employers – they all form opinions based on what they find.
If your messaging is fuzzy or your presence is patchy, they’ll move on.
Not because you’re not capable, but because they’re not clear on how you help.
That lack of clarity? It costs you.
Quietly. Consistently. Financially.
I realised I was losing opportunities, not because I lack expertise, but because my brand wasn’t making it easy for people to see my value.
Similarly, my growth has been painfully slow.
The 90 Day Experiment
So I’m doing what any good coach should: taking my own medicine.
For the next 90 days (starting yesterday), I’m applying my 5Cs strategy with full focus:
- Contemplation: reconnecting with my values and voice.
- Curation: organising ideas with intention, not impulse.
- Communication: focusing on TikTok and Threads – to compare video vs written content – and repurposing elsewhere.
- Consistency: honouring my introvert energy.
- Community: engaging meaningfully, not broadly.
This is part personal challenge, part public experiment.
And I’ll be sharing it all – including the launch of a new product – in real time.
Learn From My Mistakes
If you’ve been feeling stuck with your personal brand, perhaps you’re making the same mistake I did: understanding the strategy but not implementing it systematically.
Remember, in 2025, we ALL have a personal brand whether we’ve intentionally created one or not.
It’s simply your digital reputation.
The question is whether you’re actively shaping it or letting it work for you…or against you.
An Opportunity For You
Speaking of new products, you’re the first to hear about what exactly I’m launching in my upcoming product launch:
This newsletter shares Stanford University’s Life Design frameworks but I know some of you need to make a change NOW and would appreciate a helping hand sooner rather than later.
I’m therefore excited to to introduce Life, Unbound: Redesign Your Life in 14 Days – a workbook that simplifies the life design process for overwhelmed introverts.
It’s designed to help you get unstuck and feel more energised in under 20 minutes a day.
And here’s where you come in: I need 5 people to test this workbook and provide feedback.
If you’d like to receive “Life, Unbound” for FREE in exchange for your honest feedback and/or a testimonial, simply reply to this email with “I’M IN” and tell me what’s currently making you feel stuck.
I’ll select 5 people before midnight on Thursday and be in touch directly.
Final Thought
Building a personal brand as an introvert isn’t about becoming more ‘extroverted’ online.
It’s about strategically channelling your natural introvert strengths – thoughtfulness, depth, and authenticity – in a way that connects with others who need exactly what you offer.
Even when it feels uncomfortable.
Especially when it feels uncomfortable.
Until next time, remember that your introvert nature isn’t something to overcome: it’s your superpower when channelled correctly.
Don’t forget to reply if you’d like to be one of the 5 people to receive Life, Unbound for FREE! Just say “I’M IN” and tell me what’s keeping you stuck.
In your corner always,
Sam 💛
